About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. KA

Founder of Evolve OT and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy who lives and breathes neurological rehabilitation.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked with people recovering from all types of neurological conditions including concussion, stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. What drives me isn’t just restoring movement or improving coordination…it’s helping people reclaim their independence, confidence, and the parts of life that make them feel whole again.

I started my career with a Master’s in OT from the University of Scranton (2010) and went on to earn my Doctorate in OT from Boston University (2024). Along the way, I became a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS), earned certifications in LSVT-BIG, A-ONE, and K-Tape, and served as the Neurological Clinical Specialist at a major medical center. I have had the privilege of presenting my work nationally, teaching future clinicians as an adjunct professor, and written articles for publications like OT Practice.

But the truth is, credentials only tell part of the story. What sets my work apart is the belief that recovery is not about exercises alone. It’s about using evidence-based strategies to rewire the brain, rebuild real-life skills, and break past the limits of traditional healthcare.

That’s why I created Evolve OT: to deliver neuro rehab that’s bold, functional, and truly life-changing for both the clients I serve and the clinicians I mentor. They don’t call me the Neuroplastician for nothing.
